Hello, we are Dr. Nicholas Slater and Dr. Kelly Slater.
Dr. Kelly grew up on Long Island, NY and Dr. Nick grew up in Yuma, AZ.
We met when we attended Arizona State University in 2007.
From there we completed our higher educations at University of Nebraska, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Creighton University, and Midwestern University.
We have worked as associates in both private and corporate dental offices.
We relocated to Phoenix Arizona in 2016 with our oldest two boys and since then have had another son and a daughter.

I am very fortunate to have found Slater Family dentistry last year when I moved to Mesa!
I have lived in different cities in the valley for 30 years and I definitely would have traveled from anywhere to use their services if I had known about them.
Dr Nick did a superb job on #18 and 19 molar extractions and subsequently I had implants done as well.
I had always used an oral surgeon for extractions and Dr Nick did a better job in a shorter amount of time and was not booked out for months in advance.
Plus their overall rates are affordable and they offer a discount/loyalty program which has saved me a lot of money since I do not have dental insurance.

Having been a patient of my last dentist over 30 years the Slaters had some big shoes to fill. I was skeptical at best. Now after having my first procedure and subsequent visits I can say they are both amazing as is the staff. Caring, down to earth and knowledgeable are a few words that come to mind. I definitely stand behind and recommend the Slaters and their practice and look forward to the great relationship built on trust and the good people they are. Definitely feel as tho the torch was passed to a great Team in Slater Family Dentistry!!!

I am in the process of getting a bridge from Dr. Slater. Dr. Slater is so professional but so down to earth at the same time. I also had the honor of meeting her wonderful husband that will be joining the team very soon and I felt like I knew him forever. They are both so caring and they have four of the cutest kids ever. My husband had dental work done at the same time and he felt the same.
Their staff is so kind as well. Eloisa assisted in my care and is always so gentle and caring.
I'm so blessed that they were the ones Dr. Hasten and Dr. Chivari entrusted to carry on the compassion I always felt with them.
There is no one I'd recommend more than this compassionate team.
