Do you brush and floss your teeth twice a day without fail?
Despite carrying out optimum oral hygiene at home, a lot of harmful microbes may end up getting left behind in the hard-to-reach spots on the teeth, such as the intersections, near the gum line, the rear teeth, occlusal grooves, etc.
These regions become the most prone to cavities as they could easily develop tartar deposits.
If adults themselves are at such a risk of developing cavities, children would be at a far higher risk owing to their food habits and comparatively less thorough oral hygiene.

Here's what you should do when your child has a dental emergency.
First, don't panic.
If your child will let you look in her mouth, then let her rest comfortably while you assess the situation.
Is there blood present?
Is there swelling?
Does it hurt to touch?
Is the tooth wiggly?
Is it a permanent or baby tooth?
If everything seems normal and the area is just a little tender, then try some over-the-counter pain medication and soft, cool foods like yogurt or ice cream.

Was lucky to find this place! Ruth is amazing. This was my daughters first time at the dentis and she made such a great impression for her. She explained everything to my daughter so there wasn't any surprises. She was super patient and caring towards her needs. The front office staff was great also, very attentive explained everything as far as pricing. The doctor was GREAT. Nothing was pushed or forced. The appointment proceeded according to what my daughter was comfortable doing. I'm so happy we found this practice.
