I am Dr. Mark Granger and welcome to my Web site. Our Lakewood dental office offers General & Family Dental Care, Emergency Dental Care, Root Canals, Crowns, Implants and more. With over 39 years of experience in providing dental care to patients of all ages, no dental situation is too complex. I have created this Web site as a helpful resource for my current dental patients and prospective patients.

I hope that it is useful and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the office. This is not a prepackaged website that I have purchased and put my name, pictures, and logo on. Instead, this is a website that I have created in hopes to show my dentistry and my personal beliefs. I have spotlighted cases that I have performed in my practice, and they can be found under "Show Case."

My goal is to show the product, not the packaging. If you think this is good criterion for selecting your dentist then feel free to venture forward and spend some time viewing my Web site. If you are in need of dental care or looking for a family dentist you can trust, our Lakewood dental practice is the place for you.
Services
Believe it or not I'm a native Coloradoan.
I graduated from Arapahoe High School in Littleton and then received my bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
I attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois for my professional dental training and graduated in 1981.
I returned to Colorado and bought my present dental practice.
My office is located in a restored mansion with beautiful mountain views.
I have been in the same location for forty years.
My wife Diane, also a native of Colorado, and I have been married for thirty-one years and have two children.
I have had the great opportunity to work for Dr. Granger for 23 years.
During this time I have been able to establish a friendship and trust with many of the patients.
I value this by giving the best service I can.
When I am not working at the dental office I enjoy skiing, climbing Colorado's wonderful mountains and working as a semi-professional photographer.
Born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado.
I believe prevention and education are the keys to a happy healthy smile.
I strive to create a pleasant experience while you are in my care and hope my devotion to dentistry and positive attitude bring a smile to your face.
Please write down all medications that you are currently taking.
This includes prescribed medication, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, supplements, minerals, herbs, or anything that you are currently taking.
When making the list of all your medications include: the amount or dosage, and the reason that you are on the medication.
It is helpful to make a copy and keep an up to date version in your wallet for any time that you are visiting any healthcare provider.
When your medication changes remember to update your personal copy and inform us, so we can have a record of your most up to date medications.
I do not recommend that your decisions in regard to your dental health be based upon having or not having dental insurance.
I have seen many patients indefinitely delay dental treatment because they do not have dental insurance or they think that they are going to have it in the future.
Delaying dental treatment in the long run will cost more money.
Preventive dentistry, early diagnoses and treatment are the wisest and least expensive choices.
Your dental expenses not covered by insurance can be paid with cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover at the time of service.
Daily homecare routines vary from patient to patient.
Therefore, at your cleaning appointment, we will go over what is the best home routine for you.
However, in general, we recommend patients brush twice a day for five minutes (each time) and floss once a day.
Often, we find that patients have not been instructed to floss correctly, so we are more than happy to personally go over proper flossing technique with you.
When flossing, the floss is gently snapped between the contact area and then is wrapped around the tooth (making a 'C' shape around the tooth).
