Since third grade, Dr. Catherine Johnson Mincy knew she wanted to follow in her father's footsteps - Dr. Charles Johnson - and become a dentist.
She attended Ole Miss as an Honor's Scholar, but ultimately followed her U.S. Navy officer husband and finished her Bachelor's degree at Old Dominion University in Virginia.
She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1997 from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, which is also her father's alma mater.
Dr. Mincy is a General Dentist who is passionate about continuing education and providing a variety of services to her patients.

She completed the rigorous requirements for the Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2003 and finished her certification for the World Clinical Laser Institute in 2007.
Currently, she is working on her Master's with the Academy of General Dentistry and her fellowship requirements for the American Association of Implant Dentistry.
