Dr. Reid Crumpton and his daughter Dr. Brianna Crumpton welcome new patients of all ages. Walking into our office should feel like walking into the home of a trusted friend.
In fact, our office is a home that was originally built in the 1950s! It still retains that warm, homelike feeling and puts many of our patients at ease. However, don't let our casual appearance fool you. From routine cleanings and fillings to bruxism devices, Crumpton Family Dentistry is equipped to handle all your dental needs.
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.
Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.

Dr. Reid Crumpton is a true East Tennessee native - spending the first 10 years of his life in Maryville before his family relocated to Knoxville.
He graduated from Bearden High School, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in Zoology, and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN.
After graduation, he had the privilege of practicing with his father, Dr. Earl Crumpton, one of the first pediatric dentists in Tennessee.
He relocated his practice to Powell in 1991.
He graduated from Bearden High School, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in Zoology, and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN.
After graduation, he had the privilege of practicing with his father, Dr. Earl Crumpton, one of the first pediatric dentists in Tennessee.
He relocated his practice to Powell in 1991.
We are located in Powell, on Emory Road right off I-75, almost across from the new Kroger.

We may take x-rays or use other diagnostic tests to diagnose, then we will develop a treatment plan and, time-permitting, treat and resolve the problem.
