Services
In 1966, Dr. Andrew Koran founded our practice.
Back then, Saline was a much smaller town.
Ann Arbor was far away, separated from Saline by miles and miles of family farms.
The street out front was a dirt road and kids still attended the old Union School (now a robotics firm) up the street.
Our office was home to an obstetrician, a dentist and later, an insurance agent.
After finishing his service in the Army, Dr. J. Michael Dibble purchased the practice from Dr. Koran in 1971.
Dr. Koran left to become a professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, teaching hundreds of students the fine art of prosthodontics.
From routine cleanings and fillings to bruxism devices, Woodland Family Dentistry is equipped to handle all your dental needs.
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take x-rays, including a complete set of x-rays, for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-rays for proper diagnosis of inter-proximal decay of posterior teeth.
Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.
All our professionals at Woodland Family Dentistry maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry.
Hailing from Ann Arbor, Dr. McFinton attended the University of Michigan, triple majoring in Biology, Economics and Film Studies.
She then received her D.D.S. from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the Washtenaw District Dental Society.
