The Greater New York Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (GNYACD) was originally founded in 2007 by Dr. Peter Auster.
His vision for bringing the education and passion from the national American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) meeting to us was brought to fruition as The Empire State Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where he served as president for 5 years.
Then, Dr. Auster assembled the founding Board of Directors: Dr. Michael Teitelbaum, Dr. Lawrence Gilbert, Dr. Jay Neuhaus, Dr. Fedele Vero, Dr. Ira Handschuh, Dr. Barbara Ollech, and Dr. Robert Rioseco to serve their dental community with presentations from the finest dental educators.
