We have been serving the children of Winchester for over 25 years! A true family environment, with a team made up of some of Dr. Crisp's own family, we strive to make you and your child feel like a part of the family here. It's our goal to guide every patient on a path to great oral and overall health. Dr. Crisp completed several years of additional training, beyond dental school, to specialize in providing dental care that's specific to children.

All of our kid-centered services are provided in a calm, caring environment in order to provide you and your child with a positive experience. In our opinion, taking your child to see a pediatric dental specialist is as important as taking them to see a pediatrician. The AAPD recommends that your child should be seen no later than 6 months after their first tooth erupts from the gum.

Little teeth need as much attention as "big teeth" to prevent decay and encourage life-long healthy habits. Generally, your child should see the dentist every 6 months.

Clean the area of the affected tooth.
Rinse the mouth thoroughly with warm water or use dental floss to dislodge any food that may be impacted.
If the pain still exists, contact your child's dentist.

If the face is swollen, apply cold compresses and contact your dentist immediately.
Apply ice to injured areas to help control swelling.
If there is bleeding, apply firm but gentle pressure with a gauze or cloth.
If bleeding cannot be controlled by simple pressure, call a doctor or visit the hospital emergency room.
