Dental exams and cleanings are critical parts of keeping your smile looking its best.
With the help of a professional cleaning, we're able to remove heavy tartar buildup and surface stains from the teeth.
You should be coming into the office for a cleaning and exam once every six months.
The reason you need to have a professional cleaning done every six months is because it's difficult and even impossible to fully remove heavy buildup from your teeth.
This tartar buildup can accumulate despite your best efforts of brushing and flossing at home.

A filling is designed to replace a smaller or larger area of tooth that has become decayed.
Tooth decay is typically caused by poor oral hygiene as well as a poor diet that is high in sugar.
The plaque acids essentially attack the enamel of the tooth, eventually eating away inside the tooth as well.
Once a cavity is found, the decay can be extracted from the tooth and a white composite filling put into place.
The reason a dental filling might be needed is because you have just one or multiple cavities.

An x-ray is a vital part in providing you with the best dental care possible.
These x-rays allow us to get a clear and highly-detailed view of your oral health.
