Our dental office is proud to be as environmentally friendly as one can be in dentistry. When constructing our office, we used eco-friendly materials with no VOCs. In addition, we have installed both a Vista Clear Water System, which filters the water used in our patients' mouths and an Amalgam Separator, which traps mercury before it enters our drains to avoid contaminating the water supply.
We have no chemical waste from the development of X-rays because we use a digital system. Our ultimate goal is to have a paperless office. Throughout our office, we have been integrating technology to improve the services we provide for our patients. We have the latest Omni-Cam CAD-CAM CEREC technology to fabricate porcelain restorations, such as crowns.
The CEREC machine allows us to scan a tooth, design a restoration, fabricate that restoration, and finish it all during the same appointment. In addition, our Diagnodent laser technology allows us to measure the depth of the grooves on back teeth and determine if restorations are needed even before this is evident in digital X-rays.
