Here she was a recipient of the U.S. Army's Health Professions Scholarship, and graduated with honors.
Upon entering the Army, Dr. Barber was commissioned as a Captain and attended a year-long residency in general dentistry (AEGD-1) at Fort Sill, OK before completing a tour at Camp Casey, Korea.
