He attended Shanley High School and the University of North Dakota.
He has practiced in Fargo since he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1997.

Dr Brian Mathison is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Dakota Dental Association.
Dr. Mathison and Jenny, his wife of 24 years have three children and two dogs.

I have been going to Dr. Brian Mathison for over 10 years now.
I came to Fargo to go to college and had no idea who to choose for a dentist, and so, after asking around, I was referred by a co-worker, and that was the best decision I could have made.
I now am married with three kids and all of them (except the baby, who will eventually be a patient) love going to him.
Seriously, whose kids actually like going to the dentist?!?
The staff is great, and I love Heidi and the other dental hygienists, they are all very professional and thorough.

Dr. Mathison Dentistry has been so great with my large family. The care we receive is excellent, from the front desk, to all the hygienists and assistants. Everyone is patient with all of the antics of children while paying attention to detail and giving quality care. Nice office building with entertainment for kids. Two of my kids have needed work beyond cleanings and exams, and Dr. Mathison was very patient and did such a nice job easing any concerns they had. I have nothing but great things to say about them!
