WOW! This clinic is fantastic. Jade was so sweet and made me feel safe and heard. She has the cutest pup. Every part of the dental clinic from reception to the doctor and the financial support team was so sweet and easy to talk to. I can be a challenging dental patient, as I need perio cleanings, have a poor gag reflex when taking x-rays, and put off appointments longer than I should. The staff here made dental care a delight for the first time in my life; they listened to my needs, made no judgements against my difficulties, and offered an arsenal of amenities and techniques that helped me feel comfortable while they got done what was needed. Gracie was the absolute best! She gave me a warm neck wrap and blanket. I listened to my favorite music on Pandora. I needed alot of work. Everything from a root canal to cavities and new feeling put in place of the old ones. I was nervous as one could imagine. There was a time in my life where I had avoided the dentist for nearly 15 years. I guess there may have been some trauma from when I was younger. When the process started I was relaxed and due to the meetings we had leading up to the moment I felt safe confident with them. No fear dentistry (excuse the pun) has taken that fear out of me. Thank you for an amazing experience.

They have a lot to live up to with the name "No Fear Dentistry". While I still had fear and anxiety, It was not their fault. The staff did everything possible to make my experience as good as it was going to be. In the end I did have less fear and anxiety, so if I had to name the outfit, I would name it "A lot less fear and anxiety dentistry" I will go back, and I can't say that about most other places.

Excellent experience, I wish all healthcare and service-based businesses would take the extra effort that No Fear Dentistry did. The dental hygienist I had (Tara, I believe) was so great at explaining everything - I really appreciated being shown the x-rays they took and having it explained to me what they were looking for and why they were making the decisions they were. Tara also clearly had taken the time to read my intake paperwork, which so many places don't, and followed up on specific things to make my visit more comfortable.
I greatly appreciated the continual checking in on how things were feeling and telling me what was going to happen - these things are small, but make a huge difference in terms of experience.

This was my second time at No Fear Dentistry in Sun Prairie and it was very near as good as the first! The first time I got a loaf of fresh-baked apple bread. Everyone is great from the front desk ladies, the hygentist assistant, the doctors and, not the least of which the hygentist! I met Katie today who was very personable and kind and really gave my teeth a thorough cleaning! This place is the real deal for dentistry in this area! You won't dread going to this dental office!

I am so happy with the treatment I have received from No Fear. As a recent transplant (from Chicago to Madison), I was seriously considering driving back to Chicago for a dentist. I received a recommendation from a friend and made an appointment. I am delighted with the excellent care and I highly recommend Dr. Kourtney as the most pain-free dentist I have ever been to. I was made to feel super comfortable at every part of my visit and my wife even felt good about the call she made to schedule my appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by the nicest people behind the counter. Then I was brought back by Bailee and was made to feel even better. Honestly she was the nicest warmest most comfortable person that I have worked with at any dental office in 3 states and over 40 years. Everyone at no fear is amazing, but Gracie goes above and beyond. She was so kind and attentive and aware of my sensory needs during my cleaning. I needed to get two molar implants that I was not looking forward to. I dont like needles or drills in my mouth. By the end of the appointment I said to the No Fear team that was actually and literally a restful experience. Yes I used nitrous (totally recommended for all dental work) which helped with a sense of calm. What I was massively impressed with was their skill as a team.
Every step there was clear communications, an opportunity for questions, and the actual execution seamless. This left me with quite the fear of both dentists and dentistry in general. I was lucky enough to find madison no fear dentistry which has helped with that.
From the counterstaff (who are amazing) to the hygentists and dentists, I feel they listen to what I am saying. They talk to you and do not yell at you, or make you feel bad about yourself. They give practical advice that actually works to keep your teeth clean and healthy. When I am there, I feel welcome to be there, I dont get a feeling of "we're better than you" that I have felt in the past with other dentists. If you are looking for a new dentist, or this will be your first dentist in the area, don't hesitate to call them, you will not be disappointed. They will take care of you.

Previously I hated going to the dentist because the dentist always caused me pain and never listened. My cleaning was informative and very calm. Then the fillings I had done went so well. I cannot express enough how much the atmosphere and the way treatments are done are amazing. I was able to have multiple fills and no pain outside just a few pokes to begin with.
The staff are amazing as well. They listen and try to make the best of a not great experience. I look forward to finally getting work done and not getting so stressed out over the pain its going to cause me.

When we moved to Madison, I drove 2 hours just to keep my old dentist, but started looking for a new dentist which took me 3 dentist trys. The last dentist recommended the No Fear office when I had a panic attack during a visit. I started my journey with No Fear Dentistry in June 2024, best recommendation I have ever moved on.
I have had a through consultation, cleaning, and now my first critical fix which was over 4-hours. Each visit I was treated with such care and ensuring I was okay. My last visit being long I used the heated neck wrap, noice headset to listen to music, and a weighted blanket during my procedure. After I received a follow-up text from Dr. Adam, even though I knew it was his day off, he took the time to check on me. All the staff at reception and the amazing assistants, each go above a beyond, which adds to the overall customer care of the office experience for me.

Have been using them for several years and they have always been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to about any work you might need done. I had severe childhood trauma from the dentist and didn't know that going to a place that actually cares for their patients could help heal that trauma. I also have sensory issues and cant stand the taste of regular mint toothpaste or cleaning gel.
They always have alternative options as well as take care to provide you with distractions. My only complaint is that some of the dental chairs don't have any arm rests. As a plus size person this is painful, because my shoulders hang off the sides and have no support the whole time. I hope they consider adding those as a option for all patients in the future. But still would highly highly reccomend.

Like many others I'm not a huge fan of the dentist, I was recommended to no fear dental to get a tooth removed and must say it was very pleasant. They only thing I would complain about is when I called they quoted me a lower price for using laughing gas when I got there and went thru with everything (insurance) they came in and said my insurance was out of network witch I also confirmed they took but it's whatever I paid the 360 n got the tooth removed n it's been 24hrs n so far so good!

Our teenage son has had fear at the dentists throughout his lifetime. He had his first apt at NFD and had the best experience. He came out from the dentist talking about how everything was different and he didnt have any of the same triggers he had at past dentists. They took time to talk me (the parent) through his treatment plan and best practice. Happy to have found somewhere that will allow our son to keep up on his dental health!

Madison No Fear Dentistry made my decade! I an terrified of going to the dentist because it always hurts - even just a cleaning feels like they are pushing hard enough to break your tooth off! Not so with Madison No Fear Dentistry! There was no pain at all! Not even when they removed old cavity fillings (which HURT going in!) and replaced then with the new non-silver ones! NO PAIN! they should be called Madison No Pain Dentistry!
And the ladies at the front desk-I'm sorry ladies I forgot your names!-were wonderful. They were so nice and didn't mind that I was late the first time I was there, a week earlier! Shikyla was NY Hygienist. She was so gentle with me! I love her so much for being so caring! Adam was my Dr. Again so gentle when putting in my fillings! He even did some extra work by filing down a few sharp teeth that I had.

My first experience at No Fear Dentistry was amazing. Like many others, I do not care to go to the dentist and put it off for longer than I will mention. That said I took the leap and gave No Fear a try. Alexa was my Hygienist and she was truly amazing. She was kind, thoughtful and engaging. Amazing! Im so so so happy with my first visit and weirdly cannot wait to go back. I am not fond of going to the dentist but now I think I have changed my mind. I have sensory issues. The whole dental experience for me is extremely stressful event. I am able to bring my sensory/comfort toy to assist in calming me. No Fear also offers blankets, neck wraps, and head phones to help in further calming techniques. You have the option of paying, out of pocket for additional calming gas. Which I am thankful that is an option.

First time patient at no fear and it was incredible! Mouth wash available to you in the restroom (nice touch), guided tour of the facility, neck warmer and a movie or music with your exam. Scarred from an unnecessary tooth extraction during my childhood, I have spent most of my adult life avoiding the dentist at all costs. That decision finally came home to roost in the form of a debilitating toothache recently. I called No Fear, and they really came through for me. My first appointment with No Fear was on a Friday, they had me into an Endodontist by Monday and back in to their office on Tuesday morning for the extraction. I am no longer afraid of the dentist and cannot recommend them enough.

The west side location is great. I've been going there for many years and always had super comforting, kind, and positive experiences. They offer amenities for procedures that help keep me calm and I feel like I almost always have options at different price ranges for the services I get there. I was in a major car accident 5 years ago where I hit a tooth and loosened it and damaged another.
I also have extensive jaw issues. They've been really helpful no matter what my issues are: repairing a break in the tooth, testing my teeth and gums, educating me on how to clean them best. Overall super happy with my care!

Best dental experience I've ever had! Everyone was so incredibly kind and conscious of how to treat others, especially when they fear the dentist. They were very timely! It really felt like they cared about their patients. I had Alexa and she was fabulous! Definitely glad to make this my dental home!

I have been a patient with Dr. Ducommun for 20+ years. During this span of time I have not had an incident whereby a problem occurred and needed an adjustment. He has well traiined doctors and assitsnts. In addition, Dr. Ducommun treats his employees with respect, is an active listner when an employee has a question. The entire staff is dedicated and excited to work there. My experience today with the final implant process was wonderful. The two assistants were extremely professional. I intend to remain with Madison No Fear Dentistry.

I have dental anxiety and fear and as soon as I was taken back for exam the most compassionate assistant did everything in her power to make sure I was comfortable with everything. I am a "complicated" dental patient but, they listened, researched and said they could manage and when I said I might have an issue with one of my teeth, they gave me a quick emergency appointment despite the fact they are booked out until July. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I am very impressed with this dental office and believe me when I say that that is a very hard impression to make on me because I have had loathsome experiences at many of them.

I was TERRIFIED leading up to the first appt in the series to repair my smile. They did their best to reassure me all would be well. What a fabulous experience! From the minute you are there, they are asking what they can do to make your appointment more comfortable - warm neck wraps, blankets, Netflix, etc. I don't get waited on that well at expensive restaurants! The staff were friendly and knowledgable and Dr. Dave is definitely the BEST dentist around!

Everyone at No Fear is absolutely first class - from the front/back desk girls who check you in/out, to the talented dental hygienists & of course Dr Dave. They are especially good with kids - our 2 and 1/2 old and 5 year old love going to No Fear - they make it fun with cartoons on the tvs mounted to the ceiling, fresh baked cookies and a token for their toy machine on the way out. If you are looking for a professional, clean, modern and enjoyable dental experience you will love No Fear.

Madison No Fear Dentistry has changed my life! As someone who ignored their dental care for 14 years due to fear/anticipation of pain, I now view going to the dentist as a positive experience. Everyone at the West office (with special shoutout to Kristi, Kelsey, Kelsey, and Annalisa who I interact with at nearly every visit) is considerate, thoughtful, and attentive to what works for me as an individual.
When emergent needs arise or I need to reschedule, they are always accommodating. I know that I am now living the consequences of ignoring my dental health for so long, but I could not ask for a better group to work with for my dental recovery.

The source of my pain was identified quickly and appropriate steps were taken to alleviate it. I am very happy! I had to go back to get a tooth extracted yesterday and I cant believe how great Dr Dave and Danielle were with me. I have a horrible fear of dentists so this is why I tried them. Rest assured its NOT a marketing ploy calling their practice NO Fear. My anxiety about having to go to the dentist now has gone from a 10 down to a 1. They did a great job. Thank you sooooo much!

I have been going to Madison No Fear Dentistry for about ten years now. I love it because they take time to get to know you as a person, and youre not just a patient. I enjoy having the side conversations about life and getting to know staff, too. Shaq is the best! She and I always have lots of smiles and laughs. Not only that, but everyone is so knowledgeable and great at what they do. I feel confident taking my family here.

Madison No Fear Dentistry is the first dental office I've visited that I actually felt listened to. I told them about a particularly bad reaction my young son had after a fluoride treatment at our previous dental office and my wish not to have fluoride treatments for our family. ever. I felt listened to and respected and at no point did I feel awkward or made to feel bad about my decision for my family. Every dentist and hygienist at No Fear has had the gentlest touch and they are all very friendly and quick. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I have really bad anxiety and the thought of going to the dentist makes me panic. I was really nervous for my first visit as I have really bad teeth but the staff and the provider were really nice and made sure I was comfortable. I never felt embarrassed about my teeth in their care. I had an extraction done and they did an amazing job explaining what's going, what I am going to hear and feel. When it was over I wondered why I even panicked at all, they were amazing.

Highly recommend No Fear Dentistry. I was referred to them after recently moving to Madison, and as a first time patient I felt warmly welcomed. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a dentist - the staff was kind and informative (shoutout to Dave, Lisa and Kennedi), answered all my questions and it was an all around easy experience. This place is heaven sent! I could not appropriately express my immense gratitude enough for this place! Hands down, BEST dental experience I've ever received! Called with some severe tooth pain they were able to see me same day! So I went and they were faced with pulling a severely decayed tooth. They were able to extract it without to much effort just by numbing me up! This really made my day as I was having severe tooth pain and didnt have a appointment I would say my experience was overall a great experience and fairly priced 10/10 will go again (ideally before it get to that point)

After far too many years of being "scared" to go to the dentist, I finally made the choice to go to Madison No Fear Dentistry. In the past I had several poor experiences at the dentist and decided to try something new. Lets just say 5 stars is a bit of an understatement. Lisa was great to work with, took time to show me the facility. Most importantly took time to address my concerns and issues with dentists in the past. Also, was very clear with each step of the process. Dr. Dave came in mid way thru the appointment to address a few concerns a different treatment methods.
At 36 years old I have not met a more friendly team and Dr. Finally feel like I found the place to help me take care of my dental health long term. Thank you so much! You guys are awesome.

Around a year ago I requested a female dentist and had a great experience with her. She recently moved out of state and No Fear staff made sure that my new dentist was female- I didnt even have to remind them. Its also a relief to know that they dont use mercury fillings at this practice. The warm neck wraps and headphones are a nice perk if you have to get any work done.

Im absolutely terrified of the dentist due to previous bad experiences. The whole team took good care of me with no judgement and are helping me get my dental health back on track. Im grateful I found them, they make going to the dentist way more comfortable than I could have ever imagined. My fear with a visit to the dentist was not the potential pain. It was the dread of judgement for being so overdue for a visit! Not only did I NOT get ANY feeling of judgement, I felt genuine empathy and support! Hygienist Lisa and Dr. David Ducommun were the most friendly, patient, thorough, reassuring, and still professional dental providers I have ever had as a patient!

I dont even have fear of the dentist, just extreme tooth sensitivity such that cleanings are almost impossible for me. Other dentists had nothing they could do for me, but Im happy to say that I was actually able to get a thorough, complete cleaning today with zero tooth pain! Amazing. Everyone is super welcoming, the office is clean and enjoyable to be in, they have lots of comforting amenities if you need them to relax, and they have a plethora of different services and tools and techniques to use on you depending on your needs. I was offered options for getting my teeth cleaned painlessly that didnt exist at other dentist offices. Highly recommend!

I have had one positive experience after another at Madison No Fear Dentistry, especially with Dr Collin and Jas. I needed an issue assessed and analyzed, and Dr Collin was the first person in my dental history who ever listened, took me seriously, and helped me find a solution. I am terrified of the dentist to the point of full blown panic. I had to have a pretty invasive procedure done and was convinced I was going to feel every bit of it. Not the case at all. Today I had the first two of eight silver fillings replaced. I can't express enough how wonderful the experience was. I hate dental work and have a low pain tolerance for it. Dr. Collin was more than willing to give me extra numbing instead of what I would usually hear, which was "let me know if you feel anything and I'll give you more". not what an anxious patient wants to hear.
The overhead lights were off, the nitrous oxide was flowing, and he was done before I knew it. Even simple things like this constant suction device in your mouth which, while weird initially, was wonderful because I didn't have to focus on keeping my mouth open and tongue out of the way. I could just relax my jaw because the device did it for me. In addition, I don't know how you keep those dentist office smells at bay, but please keep it up. It's the little things that make a big difference.

This dental office is amazing. I only went because my spouse (who has high dental anxiety) would get money off. I see no reason to ever go anywhere else. Front office staff always greets me promptly with huge smiles. I'm notoriously early, and they'll get me in a chair as soon as they can. Dr. Collin numbs my mouth like he does it for a living. I watched a little Netflix when I was there, and in no time another quadrant of my mouth was finished. Dr. Collin has done some crowns, removed mercury fillings, and done some new fillings for me.
My only complaint is that I don't have any work left! Have no fear though (get it?), I'll be back in 6 months for another hygiene appointment with Katie, where she can remind me in the gentlest way possible to use my water pik more. Seriously. Kindest group of humans ever.

Have been here several times for both my daughter and myself. They never make you feel bad about not having perfect teeth (which has been my experience elsewhere). They are very gentle and they are always making sure you are comfortable and they make sure you know everything they are doing and why. ALL of the staff is amazing and helpful and just a joy to be around. This is the first place I ever havent dreaded going to the dentist.

Seriously best dental team I have had work on my mouth! Dr. Vonte and Destiny were incredible. I had 3 teeth extracted on same day and never felt a thing. Chair-side manner was great (even though my phone alarm kept going off). and the visit did not take long at all. Later that evening I received a call from Dr. Vonte checking up on me, it was greatly appreciated. I also saw Dr. Maggie 2 weeks before that, for a root canal, with the same praise! Keep up the amazing work guys, and thank you again!

I had my second visit with No Fear Dentistry this morning to get some cavities filled and I continued to be amazed with the attention and care that I receive from the moment I walk through the door until the moment I am back in my car with a loaf of bread or freshly baked delicious cookies (not even kidding). Everyone I have encountered has been knowledgeable, genuinely nice, and helpful in answering any questions I have had about my dental care. My first experience with No Fear Dentistry was absolutely positive and thorough. I expressed my previous anxieties and how I would prefer to be treated and they went above my expectations. The appointment was all about me and my well-being. I was treated with respect and nothing was rushed. I would have hugged all the women I met that day if it werent for COVID restrictions! I felt so heard and cared for. I cried tears of relief on my drive home. I would absolutely recommend No Fear Dentistry.

I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist. I needed a fresh start with a new one, and I couldnt put it off any longer when I heard the radio ad and threw caution to the wind. The whole place is thoughtfully geared towards their namesake. What stood out is they started by taking the time to listen to what I needed. And it was clear they knew exactly how to work with that. I have never liked the dentist, I had terrible experiences when I was younger, and No Fear has made it a very safe, warm and welcoming experience. The headphones are a huge help, but the care and kindness from the staff (all of the staff!) is absolutely amazing. Dr Kuyper is warm and welcoming each time I'm in and I really appreciate her care and concern during my longer visits as my nerves are typically shot. :)

I have always had a great amount of dental anxiety. I didnt feel that when I went into Madison No fear. I felt heard, and all my anxietys were taken into consideration for my upcoming appointments. I have never left a dental office excited about what the future holds for my smile, and this time I did. I got my motivation back for taking better care of my teeth and no longer have anxietys of what could happen if I dont as I have a great team behind me, to make sure it doesnt happen. If your like me and its been a couple years since you have been to the dentist, take that first step and set up your appointment, I promise you wont regret it.

Like it never happened. That sentiment was what I was left with the night after my treatment with Dr Collin. My entire appointment was pain-less, and care-free. Dr Collin treated me with respect and was attentive to my needs through the entire experience. I could not recommended him and Madison No Fear Dentistry enough!

I had a really great experience with Meghan and Dr. Collin. I had a new filling and two replacement fillings done, and it went much better than any other dental work Ive had at other places. Both of them checked in with me throughout the procedure and made sure I was completely numb and comfortable. No Fear Dentistry also uses much better tools compared to other places Ive been.

I have not been to the dentist in a while and was not looking forward to the experience. I needed a crown and the dentist and dental assistants were amazing. They explained every step and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I never felt any sort of discomfort or pain during or after my visit, I would highly recommend them to anyone nervous about going to the dentist or to anyone who has not visited the dentist in a long time.

Too many good things to say about my first time in, so let's rattle them off. 1) Nice social distancing practices. You text or call when you park outside and they let you know when to walk in. 2) Newbies get a little tour of their facility and yes, everything looks high class. 3) The staff was excellent from Kyle (hygienist), Dr. Collin Trainor, and Rocky and Brandy (reception). 4) The care was all I had hoped for and it feels as though you have friends recommending a treatment plan rather than having pushy indivuals 5) I highly recommend coming in for a first visit for the quality care and equally great staff.

Hands-down BEST experience I've ever had at a dental office! No Fear effortlessly created a warm and inviting dental experience amidst the clean and safety COVID-19 regulations. I was so impressed with the level of attention and care they offered me during my first visit. I felt my comfort was of high importance during my cleaning, and Jasmine was an incredibly kind and gentle hygienist. Dr. Kevin made sure I understood my options and had all of my questions answered.
