Dr. Venetia Laganis and her team have extensive training in making your child's visit to the dentist a positive one. We educate our patients about accurate brushing and flossing techniques and the importance of routine dental check-ups. We believe early education prepares kids for a lifetime of excellent dental health! We also offer sealants, SDF (Silver Diamine Fluoride), hospital care, in-office sedation, fluoride treatments, and tooth-colored fillings.
While we understand some children are apprehensive about visiting the dentist, we have designed a unique environment that will make your child's time with us a fun and rewarding experience. Contact us today and let us help your child achieve and maintain a beautiful, healthy smile! Laganis and her staff took such wonderful care of my eight year old.
They managed all of his fears and anxiety (mine too). From the moment we checked in until the moment we left - so grateful for such phenomenal care. We love having fun in our office! We offer fun contests for our patients and have exciting events happening throughout the year.

Services
We try our best to accommodate our patients as much as possible when scheduling appointments.
We have found that children with extensive dental work or preschool children are better to be seen early in the morning when they are fresher and can have a more positive experience.
Some appointments may require the child to miss some school; however, these are considered excused absences.
With continued care, appointments during school can be kept to a minimum.
We request a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel your appointment.

Your child's treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered.
Payment is expected at the time treatment is rendered, unless special arrangements have been made prior to the appointment.
Additionally, we will submit all insurance claims for you for your convenience.
We will fully attempt to help you receive full insurance benefits; however, you are personally responsible for your account, and we encourage you to contact us if your policy has not paid within 30 days.

Love Dr. Laganis and her staff!
They are amazing with all three of my kids!
Especially with my daughter who has special needs and gets very nervous, they walk her through everything they are going to do before hand and make her feel more comfortable.
Love this dental office!
Great experience and my kids loved the prize box and putting their stickers on the no cavity board!

Along with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, we recommend that a child's first dental visit be scheduled by his/her 1st birthday.
It is very important to make the first visit as positive and enjoyable for the child as possible.
We want your child to enjoy getting to know our team and be comfortable at all times!
A pleasant, comfortable first visit builds trust and helps put the child at ease during future dental visits.
Let your child know that the dentist and staff will explain everything in detail and will answer any questions he/she has.

Throughout your life, you will have two sets of teeth: primary (baby) teeth and secondary (permanent) teeth.
The primary teeth appear around ages 6-8 months, and all 20 are in place by age 3.
Permanent teeth will begin to grow around age 6, and with the exception of wisdom teeth, are all present between ages 12 and 14.
The next teeth to grow in are the 12-year molars and finally the wisdom teeth.
Wisdom teeth typically begin breaking through from age 17 and on.
The total number of permanent teeth is 32, though few people have room for all 32 teeth, which is why wisdom teeth are usually removed.
