She moved to Minnesota to attend Minneapolis Business College, where she graduated with an accounting degree.
After graduating, she worked for Norwest Insurance until deciding to start her own business, as a family childcare provider.
Pam enjoyed the relationships formed with those families, including Dr. Pink's assistant, Kelly.
When her boys were in high school, she accepted a position as clinic administrator with a doctor in Elk River, whom she had previously provided childcare services for.
