At R. Alan May, DDS, our first goal from the moment you walk in the door is to provide you with quality dentistry. We believe the absolute best dental care available will only take place when there is a strong bond of trust with our patients. After all, we're all working together toward the common goals of healthy teeth, gums, and, of course, a beautiful smile.
We know that many patients have different levels of apprehension about visiting the dentist. The most important thing we can do is to listen to our patients' concerns and determine the best way to address them. We want you to enjoy (or at least not dread) your visits, and we try to make them as convenient as possible.

Tooth damage is common in Americans and can be caused by many reasons.
Many people assume that all tooth damage is due to decay.
Gum disease also causes tooth loss, and it can be completely unnoticeable right up until you lose your teeth!
No matter what the cause of your tooth damage may be, R. Alan May, DDS can tailor a dental solution to fit your needs in the form of a crown or bridge.
Crowns are necessary to save a broken or worn-down tooth when a simple filling does not restore it to full functionality.
