Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Kaneohe. In 2009, he graduated from Castle High School, where he was active in the wrestling and judo programs. After High School, Dr. Johnson followed his passion for wrestling by attending Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, where he was an NCAA Division III wrestler and earned his BA in Chemistry.
Luckily, Dr. Johnson was accepted to a dental school much closer to home, and received his dental degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
