Services
The reason we're called the Boston Center for Oral Health is because we provide all the services that a patient could need; from routine care to root canals, from gum surgery to implants.
Everybody wants white teeth and beautiful smiles.
Our mission is to provide compassionate care.
We have our systems down.
We have our personnel down.
When you come to visit BCOH, you're walking into a mature practice that knows how to treat people.
The first step in a great office, whether it's routine care or for people who have had other priorities.
When we treat emergency patients, we believe that the most important thing is the availability of a professional and their willingness to provide the patient with direction to resolve their emergency.
We begin this process in a timely manner by connecting you to an expert at BCOH.
One of the most frustrating things for patients is trying to get access to proper care and instead, being met with limitless recorded phone options.
At BCOH the process is straightforward- a human being is simply one phone call, one email, or one text away.
Many of you are attending school in the greater Boston area, some go to Berkeley, BU, MIT, Harvard, the list goes on.
Occasionally dental problems arise and you wish you were at home to deal with them.
Unfortunately, your network of support which includes your family and the family dentist may be far away.
Being parents and grandparents ourselves, we understand that dental problems may occur while a student is at school.
We want you to know that we are here to help.
We are very happy to communicate with your dentist at home and your parents through virtual visits.
Our patients are unique, which is why our board-certified Boston dentists provide dental care that's customized.
We take a preventative approach to dental health, tailoring a preventative program to fit each patient's individual needs.
A preventative program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions.
Avoiding dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by one of our experienced Boston dentists at your initial visit.
Examination of diagnostic X-rays: Dental X-rays help determine tooth and root positions and are essential for the detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss.
Oral cancer screening: We check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.
Gum disease evaluation: We check the gums and bone around the teeth for any signs of periodontal disease.
Examination of tooth decay: All tooth surfaces will be checked for decay with special dental instruments.
