Examine your child's teeth every two weeks or so for lines and discoloration (such as brown spots) typically caused by decay.
If you see anything suspicious, please take them to see a dentist.
You've heard this before, perhaps, but please avoid letting your child fall asleep with milk or juice in their mouth.
The extended exposure of sugar in the liquid can seriously damage their teeth.
At a minimum, please brush and floss your child's teeth every morning and evening after mealtime.
Use only a pea-sized amount of children's toothpaste.

We especially don't recommend it in the back of the mouth where it tends to place excessive force on the other teeth and cause damage.

Finally, the composite is polished and buffed so that the surface is smooth.
This is not a process that is recommended if you are a smoker as smoke causes staining.
Also, the material is not as durable as porcelain veneers and crowns so it chips more easily; eventually it may require replacing.
