What is Cerec?
Cerec is a Chairside Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics made of enamel-like material.
Translated, it means that Dr. Shuffield can restore damaged teeth in a single appointment using a high-quality ceramic material that matches the natural color of other teeth.
One of the most common dental disorders is also the most neglected.
It is the uneven bite.
The way the teeth fit together when the jaw closes and chews is very important to the long-term health of your teeth.
If surfaces of the teeth interfere with how the jaw moves, the teeth can be worked loose, crack, or the enamel can be worn away.
This is a condition known as malocclusion or uneven bite.
Other consequences can be movement of teeth, sore muscles, even tension headaches.
The muscles that move the jaw are very powerful and can do major damage to the teeth when the biting surfaces do not fit together properly.
