Services
Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, is most often used for children who are mildly or moderately anxious or nervous.
It eases their fears so that they can relax and receive treatment comfortably and safely.
Nitrous oxide is administered by placing a small mask over your child's nose.
Your child will be asked to breathe through his or her nose and not through the mouth.
As the gas begins to work, the child becomes calm, although he or she is still awake and can talk with the dentist.
When the gas is turned off, the effects of sedation wear off almost immediately.
Arkansas Pediatric Dentistry is happy that you chose our clinic to begin your child's journey to maintain a healthy smile.
The recommended time for a child's first dental visit is when the first tooth breaks through or by your child's first birthday.
We do our very best to stay on our schedule so you're not stuck waiting for a long time, and it's only in emergency cases that we get off track.
We only ask the same courtesy of you, so if you can't make your appointment, please let us know 72 hours in advance if your schedule changes so someone else can have the time slot.
