Many orthodontic offices have multiple locations in which their patients and families must determine which office is available for them on certain days of the week.

There are many different agreements between insurance carriers and their subscribers, and each contract provides a different benefit.
However, orthodontic insurance generally differs from regular dental insurance in that each insured individual usually has a lifetime maximum benefit for orthodontic services.
This benefit is paid as a percentage of the orthodontic fee (diagnostic records, initial fee, monthly payments, etc.) until the benefit maximum has been reached.
Charges for lost or broken appliances may not be covered by insurance.
However, orthodontic insurance generally differs from regular dental insurance in that each insured individual usually has a lifetime maximum benefit for orthodontic services.
This benefit is paid as a percentage of the orthodontic fee (diagnostic records, initial fee, monthly payments, etc.) until the benefit maximum has been reached.

However, all appointments cannot be seen after school.
The placement or removal of braces, the placement of additional appliances and the repair of broken appliances are always accomplished in during non-peak, school hours.
If you are running late, we will try to accommodate our late arrivals.
Missed afternoon appointments may have to reschedule during school hours because of the understandable popularity of these visits.
However, all appointments cannot be seen after school.

The adhesive used for attaching the braces to your teeth cures rapidly initially, but takes 24-hours to completely cure.
You can eat anytime after leaving our office.
However, we ask that you be mindful of the suggested list of foods that may be harmful to the braces.
Until you become accustomed to eating with your new braces, you may find it beneficial to follow a diet consisting of soft foods.
Initially the braces feel like they "stick out".
This is normal.
As you become accustomed to your braces and tooth alignment improves, this sensation will disappear and will cease to be a concern.
