Services
I recommend Everyone to Dr. Esfandiari because his office is very welcoming and I always feel comfortable when I'm there.
Last week I had an emergency pain and dr.
Esfandiari made himself available to take care of me on a Sunday which was so nice of him.
This dentist is amazing!
I was so scared of the dentist that I hadn't been to one for over 8 years and he finally made me feel comfortable enough to get my teeth fixed.
He was also great with my kids too and they love him.
Dr. Frank was very kind, explained what he was doing and his office staff were very pleasant and seemed down to earth and engaging.
Not everyone's dental hygiene is the same.
Some people need to visit the dentist in 4 month intervals, while 6 months is fine for others.
In Ventura, your dental care from Dr. Frank Esfandiari is gentle and will match you with your individual hygiene needs.
Ventura dentist, Dr. Esfandiari helps patients understand the role of good hygiene by showing you before and after pictures of your own mouth, so you can visualize plaque and other harmful agents.
These are controllable with your home care hygiene efforts, in which most patients increase their diligence after witnessing the need for it.
They do not have the bitter taste of some fluoride gels, but in some patients the taste of the varnish can cause nausea especially when consuming food within the 24 hours post treatment.
Based on published findings, professionally applied fluoride varnish does not appear to be a risk factor for dental fluorosis, even in children under the age of 6.
This is due to the reduction in the amount of fluoride which may potentially be swallowed during the fluoride treatment because of the small quantities used and the adherence of the varnish to the teeth.
A dental implant is a titanium fixture that is placed into the bone under gums of the mouth.
After the implant body is placed the implant will be left untreated for a period of 4-6 months.
The next step in the process is to attach an abutment to the tooth.
This is achieved by exposing the top of the implant and placing the abutment.
This is the part of the implant that will support the final crown.
Finally, an impression is taken of the implant and a final restoration is crafted.
This restoration will be comfortable and cosmetically pleasing.
Porcelain veneers are thin pieces of porcelain used to recreate the natural look of teeth, while also providing strength and resilience comparable to natural tooth enamel.
It is often the material of choice for those looking to make slight position alterations, or to change tooth shape, size, and color.
Porcelain laminate veneers consist of a compilation of several thin ceramic layers which replace original tooth enamel, and an adhesive layer.
To apply a veneer, a very small amount of the original tooth enamel must be removed, usually less than a millimeter.
