Drs Joanne Tran and Royce Young met in undergrad while attending Loma Linda University's Medical Technology program. They are graduates from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After getting married and prior to moving back to California they completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Program from the University of New Mexico.
They have been in Ventura since 2012 and curently have a thriving 1 year old boy. Joanne grew up in Orange County and first attended USC majoring in English. She has worked for the Indian Health Service obtaining expertise with orthodontics and extraction of wisdom teeth. Additionally, she was the lead surgical dentist for a pediatric dental practice, providing dentistry for small children requiring an operating room setting.
In her spare time she enjoys long walks on the beach with her family. Royce was born on Abraham Lincoln's birthday and grew up just down the 101 freeway in Glendale, CA. He has received extensive training with dental implants and esthetic dentistry and continues to be active taking continuing education courses.
