Welcome to Prestige Dentistry, the Prairieville, LA dental office of Dr. Reena Oza. At our practice, the number one goal is to give you and your family a truly unique dental experience. We share the belief that when it comes to oral health, providing the best care possible in a warm, friendly environment is most important. We want our patients to feel at home from the moment they walk in the door to the time they leave our office.
Dr. Oza has designed the practice to feel just like a home and not a cold, unfriendly dental office. When a patient comes through the door, they are treated just like a friend coming to visit, being recognized and greeted by name. At our practice, you will always receive personalized, one-on-one care. We typically see only one patient at a time, so you'll never be rushed, and neither will we.
This allows us to provide the best quality treatment we can. Our practice is built on relationships, and we strive to develop lasting relationships with our patients and hopefully extend that to their families.

I was born and raised in Baton Rouge.
I attended Baton Rouge Magnet High School and Louisiana State University.
While at LSU, I knew I wanted to do something in the healthcare field, so I majored in kinesiology with a concentration in human movement.
After graduating, I decided dentistry was the right field for me.
I liked the fact that it provides the unique combination of art, science, and working with people on a daily basis.

Flu season is back so of course I got sick.
Finding a health center that doesn't charge an obscene amount of money to be seen is always a struggle.
It was the closest, same-day appointment center I found on Yelp.
They take several types of insurance, including mine which only charged a $10 copay.
They even have their own app where you fill out your symptoms and payment information right there.
Once I arrived, all I had to worry about was not coughing on the doctor!
I got a prescription filled at the in-house pharmacy and was on my merry way about 30 minutes later.

Is there something about your smile that you wish you could change?
Having a beautiful smile can improve your confidence and how you feel about yourself.
You don't have to let your smile hold you back.
At Prestige Dentistry, we have several options to give you a confident, radiant smile that is not only beautiful but also healthy.
One of the most conservative and cost-effective ways to esthetically change your front teeth is with cosmetic dental bonding.
Bonding can serve to repair discolored teeth, correct a tooth position, or close spaces between your teeth.

When damage to a tooth is so extensive that a filling is not sufficient to repair it, a porcelain crown or "cap" is needed to strengthen and protect it.
This is recommended when the damage is extensive but the tooth can still be saved.
The most common reasons a crown is needed are decay that has spread significantly, trauma that has occurred, or an old filling is breaking down.
The crown restores structure that has been damaged and prolongs the life of the tooth.
A crown can also be used for esthetic reasons.
