Services
Preventive care is the most important part of our dental treatment.
Each patient's full mouth xrays and periodontal chart are reviewed by our periodontist.
After emergency, gum disease, and restorative treatment is complete, we make sure that our patients have hygiene appointments scheduled in advance as recommended every 3, 4 or 6 months.
Once a year we take check up xrays and measure bone level to monitor our treatment outcome.
If you had implants placed, we recommend patients get three cleanings a year to keep the implants in top condition.

The first line of defense against gum disease is a unique type of cleaning called "scaling and root planing."
In this procedure, an ultrasonic cleaning device is used to remove plaque and tartar from your teeth where regular cleaning devices can't reach: under the gum line, on the tooth, and around the root.
Then, the rough surface of the tooth and the root are smoothed out (planed).
This provides a healthy, clean surface that makes it easier for the gum tissue to reattach to the tooth.

Root canal treatment is designed to eliminate bacteria from the infected root canal, prevent re-infection of the tooth and save the natural tooth.
When undergoing a root canal, inflamed or infected pulp is removed and the inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed.
Inside the tooth, beneath the white enamel and a hard layer called dentin, is a soft tissue called pulp.
This tissue contains blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue, which help grow the root of your tooth during its development.
