Services
Ray Family & Cosmetic Dentistry formally known as Washington Ray DDS Family Dentistry was founded by Dr. Washington Ray, Jr. in 1979.
Dr. Washington Ray, Jr. served as an US Air Force dentist for many years before deciding to return to his home State of South Carolina along with his wife and three young sons.
His eldest son, Arian Ray, followed in his father's footsteps and became a dentist.
After his tour in the US Army as a combat dentist, Dr. Arian Ray joined his father's practice.
Within two years the practice outgrew its facility and Dr. Arian Ray decided to expand the practice under his ownership to its current location where Ray Family & Cosmetic Dentistry opened the doors to its state-of-the art facility in 2009.

We use new technologies which can dramatically whiten teeth using various forms of hydrogen peroxide.
Ray Family & Cosmetic Dentistry uses the Zoom 2 in office bleaching system and the Nite White take home bleaching system.
The Appointment usually last one hour and the teeth are bleached right here in the office.
This method allows us to use the most concentrated hydrogen peroxide available, which means brighter smiles with more predictable results.
Contact our office for more information.
Usually, the answer is to whiten your natural teeth to either the level of whiteness you want or to the brightest they can be.

We provide annual cleanings as well as three to six month recall cleaning appointments for our Periodontal patients.
We also provide oral hygiene instructions and nutritional counseling to our patients during theses visits.
Crowns are usually full coverage of a tooth or teeth with a dental material usually a precious or semi-precious material.
Full coverage of a tooth is indicated when much of a tooth surface is loss due to decay or from fractures due to trauma.
Sometimes crowns are done for unsightly discolored teeth due to stains or old fillings that are stained.
