Doctor Lokko is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. He and his staff make sure you're comfortable, he does not push for services that do not need to be done. I don't care where in New Hampshire I live I will always go to see this man in Wells Maine he and his team are the best! Dr. Lokko is awesome. We had a dental emergency today (Saturday) and Dr. Lokko fixed my daughters tooth and then called later that evening to make sure my daughter was ok.
I highly recommend this dentist. As always, I am treated with respect, competence, and professionalism when I have an appointment at Nortey Dental!

I especially like working with patients who've avoided dental care for some time: together, we move their mouth from unhealthy to healthy and return their smile!
I work one-to-one with patients: taking X-rays, screening for oral cancer, and providing preventive and maintenance care with cleanings and fluoride treatments.
A lot of my day is spent teaching patients about their oral health and empowering them to make positive changes.

Dr. Nii Lokko graduated from Luther College, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in biology.
He attended Tufts University in Boston, and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Lokko remained at Tufts to complete a rigorous general practice residency.
He moved to New Hampshire after that, and spent about nine years providing critical dental services through community health centers before moving to Wells.
Dr. Lokko is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Maine Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
