Our mission is to provide principle-centered, comprehensive-care dental services in a comfortable and caring atmosphere, to respect our patients' time, and to always strive toward excellence. We promise to stay informed of current treatment modalities, and we will provide comprehensive dental treatment based on sound, proven research. One thing that Dr. Black has always believed in is continuing education in dentistry, and so has his staff.

They want to provide you with the latest techniques and technologies and continue to study under some of the best leaders in dentistry. Regular examinations are key to promoting dental health by detecting or preventing problems before they get worse. By rebuilding the foundation of a tooth, dental implants do more than provide a false tooth; they provide a fully restored tooth.

Such a wonderful experience at South Main Dental! From their beautiful office, to the pleasant atmosphere, this group works so well together and makes you feel welcome and super comfortable.

Because the most important factor affecting how long dental implants last is how well you take care of them, it is important to take the time to clean them well.
You should brush and floss as you normally would, and you should also maintain regular visits with us so that we can ensure that the implant is in good condition.
We will also advise you of any additional steps that might be unique to your specific situation.

In most cases, before the placement of a dental implant, there is some preparatory work that needs to be done.
This may include the removal of a damaged tooth, and will often include a bone graft procedure to bulk up the jawbone.
Following the loss of a tooth, patients experience rapid bone loss.
This is due to the connection of tooth to jaw being lost.
Only a dental implant can restore that connection; it cannot be restored with any other tooth restoration.
There are factors that can make the placement of a dental implant more difficult.
