Services
At Children's Dental Camp we are specialized in Pediatric Dentistry and therefore, we understand the importance of early intervention since dental care starts young in life.
We are here for you and we will work with you to promote and maintain healthy habits, be preventive care or providing treatment to restore to healthy teeth.
We are committed to assist you with tools of success to achieve this common goal in our specialty Pediatric Dental Clinic; our satisfaction is your satisfaction, for us your child's oral care is our top priority.
Dr Patricia Tay graduated from Dental School in 1998 and from her early stages in the practice of General Dentistry her heart was always drawn to focusing in the care of children.
She followed her passion to treat kids and with determination, she pursued and successfully completed her specialty program in Pediatric Dentistry in the University of Puerto Rico.
During her residency program and career she understood the needs of under served communities, and through hard work, she had an active role in diverse activities such as volunteering in multiple educational events using her clinical skills as well as her fluency in English and Spanish languages.
The American Dental Association (ADA) is recommending that children be seen starting at age 1.
More than 1 in 4 children in the United States have cavities by the time they are 4 years old, sometimes as early as age 2. Dental care for children, prevention of early childhood cavities, use of fluoride, thumb sucking, teething and relationship between diet and oral health are discussed at this early visit.
You can be of great assistance to your child by talking about the visit in a positive, matter-off-fact way.
This tip sheet offers pointers on communicating good oral health to your little ones, broken down by age group, including birth to two years old, two to five years.
This highly-visual, easy-to-follow guide can be printed and posted to refrigerators so family members and babysitters know what to do should a tooth be chipped or knocked out (hint: a glass of milk could come in handy)!
