After graduating with degrees in management information systems and finance, I went to work as a technology consultant.
Realizing that my career was not fulfilling for me, I decided to pursue something that would allow me to work more directly with people and have a direct impact on people's lives.
I resigned from my job and began to pursue a career in dentistry.
I spent a year at Georgetown University, gaining the prerequisites for dental school, and continued on to the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry, where I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
