He earned his Bachelors in Psychology at Brigham Young University and his Doctorate from the University of Nebraska and enjoyed practicing dentistry in Henderson for many years.

Dr. Barton and his wife, Corinne, have five children and 12 grandchildren.

Bret then served a mission for his church from 1988 to 1990 in Brazil where he learned the importance of serving others.
3 kids and 30 years later they are still going strong.
Bret did not know what he wanted to do as a career after his mission, so he joined the Army full time and was stationed in San Antonio, TX where he was trained as a dental lab tech and after his training was stationed in Baumholder, Germany.
Bret was honorably discharged in 1994.
Bret worked as a dental lab tech for a while, and then decided that he would rather be a dentist.
