Dr. Baxter graduated from Baraboo High School in 1979.
He decided to follow in his father's footsteps to become a dentist.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School in 1988.
This is particularly notable because he is a third generation Northwestern Dental School graduate in the family.
Both his grandfather, Glenn, and his father, Donald, received their degrees in 1923 and 1953 respectively.
After graduation Dr. Terry joined his fathers practice and they enjoyed a great working relationship until Dr. Donald's retirement.
