Dr. John Athans, a native of the Buffalo area, has been in practice for approximately 29 years.
He attended St. Bonaventure University for his undergraduate studies and the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
After graduating in 1989, he pursued specialty training in a dental oncology residency at Roswell Park Cancer Institute's Department of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics.
He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Eighth District Dental Society and Erie County Dental Society and has served in the past as President of the Erie County Dental Society as well.
