Choosing a healthcare provider is one of the most important decisions you can make. Our caring, knowledgeable, and accessible professionals will take the time to review all of your options and treat you as an individual, not just a patient. We offer state of the art techniques and the latest in dental technology supported by extensive continuing education.

We offer comprehensive dentistry for the entire family, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as Invisalign and dental implants. Serving Melrose, MA and the surrounding area, Dr. Magdalena Nowak and the experienced team at Nowak Family Dental offer comprehensive family dentistry as well as the following dental specialties: Invisalign, dental implants and sleep wellness.

Dr. Nowak graduated Summa Cum Laude from UMASS in Amherst, MA and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from SUNY Buffalo in 2012. Dental implants do much more than replace missing teeth. In addition to protecting existing teeth by helping to preserve bone structure, they also help maintain and strengthen bone structure, provide the ability to chew healthy food, and give patients the confidence to smile.
Services
Our goal is always to help our patients maintain their oral health and to care for and protect their natural teeth.
Maintaining oral health includes good home care and regular visits to our office for preventive care, which includes oral examinations and cleanings.
Even with excellent care, however, teeth and gums can be susceptible to disease, infection, cavities, cracks, or other forms of damage.
Comprehensive examinations of the mouth, teeth, surrounding gum tissues, and supporting bone structures help with early detection and treatment of problematic conditions.
The goal of preventive dental care is to keep your teeth and gums healthy so restorative treatments are not needed.
It's recommended that all patients visit the dentist every six months for oral exams and cleanings.
With regular dental visits, we can identify minor issues while they are easy to treat and prevent future dental problems from starting.
During your oral examination, the doctor will visually inspect your mouth, head, and neck for abnormal growths and lesions.
We also use photography, radiographs and sometimes additional scans and imaging to provide us with a more complete look at your teeth and jaw, allowing us to detect cavities, compromised dental restorations, gum and bone recession, and other issues within the mouth, head, and neck area.
While the health of your teeth and gums is our priority, we know that it's also important to feel good about your smile.
If you feel self-conscious about your teeth, cosmetic dental treatments can transform your smile and help restore your confidence.
We combine the latest dental techniques and technology with our advanced knowledge of aesthetics to help you achieve the beautiful smile you've always dreamed of.
You may only need one procedure or a series of cosmetic dental treatments for a complete smile makeover.
The right restorative procedure at the right time can reduce the need for additional dental work in the future.
With restorative dental treatments, we restore strength, function, health, and appearance to compromised teeth.
Biomimetic dentistry seeks to reconstruct teeth to emulate their natural form and function-the term means to copy what is life-like.
Dentists who take a biomimetic approach only remove decayed and damaged portions of the tooth, retaining as much of the natural tooth structure as possible for optimal dental health.
Pediatric dentistry lays the foundation for a lifetime of good oral health.
Primary teeth matter-they aid in proper jaw and facial growth, speech development, help your child eat the nutritious foods they need for overall growth, and maintain space in the mouth for the permanent teeth to erupt.
With regular dental visits starting from a young age, your child will feel comfortable at our office and learn that the dentist is someone they can trust.
Just like with adults, children should see the dentist for oral evaluations every six months in order to prevent cavities and other dental problems.
