Dr. Lawrence Maher, III, grew up in La Porte, Texas.
He graduated from La Porte High School in 1983.
He began his college career at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, while running cross country for the college.
Dr. Lawrence completed his undergraduate education with a degree in Biology from Texas A&M University in College Station.
Dr. Lawrence then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
During dental school, he was an active member of the Xi Psi Phi Fraternity, serving as Vice President, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society.
He graduated from La Porte High School in 1983.
