Dr. Ron Leyder Sr. was born and raised in the Big Rapids area.
He achieved his dental education from the University of Michigan.
Due to rare excellence in his academic achievement Dr. Leyder had the honor of being one of the few dentists that was accepted to dental school one year early, before he achieved his undergraduate degree.
After graduation in May of 1981, Dr. Leyder built his practice in Croton and started seeing patients that September.
Dr. Leyder and his wife Barbara live in the Hardy Dam area where they have raised their three sons and one daughter.
