He was born in Vietnam and came to the US during his teenage years.
He received his bachelor degree at the University of Arkansas and his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
In 2001, he decided to further his education and completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at Nova Southeastern University in Ft.
Lauderdale, Florida and Miami Children's Hospital.
His education included advanced studies and specialized training in dentistry for children, adolescents and special needs patients.
