Services
Preventive dental care is the cornerstone of pediatric dentistry.
Pleasant childhood preventive dental visits help keep your child cavity free, help ensure we catch any potential problems early, and help promote the establishment of trust and confidence that will last a lifetime.
Most children should be seen for routine preventive dental visits every six months.
To help our youngest patients get an early start, we do not charge for well-baby dental visits for children under 24 months of age.
Even with good brushing and flossing it is difficult, almost impossible, to clean the pits and grooves on certain teeth, especially first and second permanent molars.

Please call (631) 351-1540, or click the "Make Appointment" box to the right, and one of our staff members will be glad to help you schedule an appointment time that is right for you and your child.
Please note that younger children often "do better" in the morning when they are less tired and that we only schedule longer, more complicated procedures, on weekday mornings.
We will make every effort to be on time and ask that you please extend the same courtesy to us.
If you are running late please give us a call so that we can check if we can still accommodate you.

Regular periodic dental examinations, plaque control checks, and fluoride applications are essential to any preventive dental care program.
Experience shows that children who participate regularly in a preventive program have a lower incidence of dental decay than those who are seen sporadically.
Ultimately, this both benefits your child and helps to keep costs down.
As a courtesy, we will contact you by phone or by postcard when it is time for your child to return for a preventive check-up.
If for some reason you have not heard from us within 6 months from your child's previous preventive check-up, please call us at (631) 351-1540 for an appointment.
