Thank you for visiting the website of Main Street Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, the office of Dr. Margaret Santiago.
We believe every child deserves to have a beautiful smile!
Helping infants, young children and adolescents achieve optimum oral health is our passion.
We are conveniently located in Downtown Pleasanton, at 55 West Angela Street.
Our mission is to be a provider of high quality pediatric dentistry and orthodontics.
We are dedicated to comprehensive, conservative care through patient education in a comfortable and fun environment for our patients.
Our doctors believe that every child should have the best dental experience in a comfortable and caring environment.
They understand how to ease a child's anxiety during a dental visit with their caring demeanor and warm smiles.
They are dedicated to providing the best quality oral health care to children and understand the importance of educating children and parents about the best ways to take care of teeth and gums to ensure optimal dental health.
All being mothers themselves, they strive to treat each child as they would their own family.
Main Street Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics works very hard to become a part of the Pleasanton Community.
Main Street Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics will be participating in Downtown Pleasanton's First Wednesday street fair!
Stop on by our tent for some fun face painting or a balloon.
We participate in elementary and preschool toothfairy visits to teach children about oral health.
Our office mascot "Molly" likes to join us on these adventures!
Along with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, we recommend that a child's first dental visit be scheduled by his/her 1st birthday.
It is very important to make the first visit as positive and enjoyable for the child as possible.
We want your child to enjoy getting to know our doctors and staff and be comfortable at all times.
A pleasant, comfortable first visit builds trust and helps put the child at ease during future dental visits.
Let the child know that the doctors and staff will explain everything in detail and will answer any questions he/she has.
Ice can be applied to any bruised areas.
For bleeding, apply firm (but gentle) pressure with sterile gauze or a clean cloth.
If the bleeding does not stop with pressure or continues after 15 minutes, go to an emergency room.
Recover the tooth, making sure to hold it by the crown (top) and not the root end.
Rinse, but do not clean or handle the tooth more than necessary.
Reinsert the tooth in the socket and hold it in place using a clean piece of gauze or cloth.
If the tooth cannot be reinserted, carry it in a cup containing milk.
