After graduating dental school at 24 years of age from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD), I hit the road for the "Old North State"!
At 25 years of age (during my advanced general dentistry residency at ECU School of Medicine) I asked my best friend, Stacy Oller, to marry me.
Stacy still had 2 and a half years left before she graduated ULSD, so I moved in with my grandparents in Kings Mountain, NC while I practiced as an associate dentist to a friend and colleague Grady K. Howard, DDS, PA.
