We emphasize prevention at Lakefront Family Dentistry.
Routine dental examinations and cleanings, combined with education and good oral hygiene and dietary habits encourage life long oral health and minimize the risk of developing gum disease and cavities.
Other preventative services we provide include sealants, topical fluoride, and nightguards.
When it comes to good oral health, one of the most important things you can do is to visit your trusted dentist at least every 6 month, some patients will need to visit more often if they are prone to, or have active, tooth decay and/or periodontal (gum) disease.

Tooth colored (or composite) fillings offer a natural looking solution for fixing cavities or chipped teeth.
A crown (sometimes called a "cap") can cover and support a tooth with a large broken filling or cavity when there is not enough natural tooth left or the tooth is starting to fracture (cracked tooth).
A bridge can be used to replace a missing tooth, protect a weak tooth from breaking, or restore one that is already broken.
Crowns can also be used to cover teeth that are discolored and cannot be whitened or are badly shaped.
