She started as an ortho assistant right after high school and decided after assisting for several years she wanted to be a Dental Hygienist.
She graduated from Oakland Community College in 2002.

While taking nursing classes at Michigan State University, Kayleigh discovered her love of teeth.
She transferred to The University of Michigan and started the dental hygiene program the following fall.
