Dr. Chapman completed both undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Michigan.
She moved back to her hometown, Traverse City, in 2007 to practice dentistry with her father, Dr. Wes Schulz.
The two practiced together until his retirement in 2013.
Dr. Chapman, and husband Andrew, have twin boys, born in 2012.
