Richard Witty grew up in Laurel, MS. He attended the University of Florida and University of Southern Mississippi for his undergraduate education. He then attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center for a master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and then his dental degree from the School of Dentistry.
Dr. Witty completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he received advanced training in: general dentistry, the placement and restoration of implants, bone grafting, advanced periodontal treatment, root canal treatment, surgical extractions of wisdom teeth, and IV conscious sedation.Dr. Witty and his wife Jaime moved to Steamboat Springs in 2015.
They are very proud to call Steamboat their home and stay active in the community. Dr. Witty and his wife had their first child Charlotte in 2018. You can find Dr. Witty on the slopes skiing, playing golf, mountain biking, paddle boarding, and fly fishing. Jaime Witty grew up in Gulfport, MS.
