Ozark Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Matt is originally from Russellville, Ar. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and attended dental school at the University of Kentucky. Upon receiving his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry, Dr. Matt served in the Air Force at Barksdale Air Force Base as a general dentist. He was awarded Air Force Global Strike Clinical Dentist of the Year and loved serving our great country's service members.

Dr. Matt and his family moved to Buffalo, New York where he completed his residency in pediatric dentistry and was Chief Resident his second year. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and has a specialty license to practice pediatric dentistry in Arkansas. Dr. Matt is Board Eligible with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Matt is married to Jamie and they have two children, J.W. and Wilson. He loves spending time with his family, watching Razorback sports, and doing activities in the great outdoors.

It is no fun if your little one is in pain, so for dental emergencies, please contact our office.
If your child has experienced head trauma or a life-threatening event, please call 911 or take your child to the nearest emergency room.
Apply a cold compress to the areas that are bleeding.
Motrin or Tylenol may be given to reduce pain and inflammation.

If your child breaks off a piece of tooth, use a cold compress to reduce swelling and try and find the pieces of the tooth.

Pediatric dentists do a two-year residency working with other pediatric healthcare providers including pediatricians, ear nose and throat doctors, and anesthesiologists.
During their residency, pediatric dentists are trained for dental trauma, oral surgery and dental emergencies.
Pediatric dentists are trained to safely sedate children in the office if needed.
