Because of the limitation dental offices experienced during the recent shut-down, many appointments had to be canceled. We are working hard to prioritize delayed treatments and have added extra hours in order to provide the safest and most timely oral health care. When you arrive for your appointment you may notice many new protocols for both your and our added safety during this time.
Below is a list of our enhanced precautions. All people entering the office are asked to wear a mask and use the hand sanitizer we are providing. Our scheduled patients are being prescreened for good health and any medical concerns prior to being appointed and before we bring them into a treatment room. Our practice has staggered appointments for each provider to minimize congregating in our lobby and to allow each room to be fully disinfected for 10 minutes between patients.
All patients are asked to rinse with an antibacterial mouth rinse for 60 seconds prior to treatment. During treatment staff wear N95 masks, a protective surgical mask over the N95 that is discarded after each patient, a gown and surgical cap that is changed after each patient and laundered, and a face shield.
