But the one thing that is certain at this practice, Dr. Mussetter is elated to continue to care for regional kids and promises to provide premiere dental services. She will endlessly strive to make your children at least tolerate, if not love, the dentist! Dr. Roy founded Pediatric Dentistry, PSC in 1974. He was the sole pediatric dentist in eastern Kentucky for many years and provided care for most of the families in our region.

Dr. Roy graduated from UK College of Dentistry and completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry in Cincinnati. Dr. Spradlin graduated from UofL School of Dentistry and completed his residency in Dayton, Ohio.
Services
Sometimes your child requires a stainless steel (Ironman tooth or a princess) crown.
Yeah, I know they're not pretty, but your child will be pretty happy not to have that tooth filled or extracted in the near future.
This treatment, when suggested, is the gold standard for baby teeth.
Your child has a sick tooth?
We'll fix it!
Sometimes those teeth need fillings, or pulp (nerve) therapy; sometimes the tooth is better suited under your child's pillow for the tooth fairy.
We will do a thorough exam to figure out which treatment is best for your child.
I am also the wife to Evan Mussetter, MD (Emergency Medicine) and the mom to Gunther and June.
I adore them.
Our family loves bulldogs and we keep our house full of those little stinkpots.
I love crafting, building Legos, jigsaw puzzles, being at the pool, working, and traveling.
I joined Pediatric Dentistry, PSC in 2011 immediately after finishing residency and have been happily working my tail off taking care of children in our area.
I'm constantly humbled by the distance our patients travel, the trust in our services, and the commitment each of my families have for their children's needs.
Our office is happy to contact your insurance company and receive a pre-estimate for treatment.
Just because you're not in network doesn't mean your insurance won't cover our services.
We do our best to provide you a close estimate to treatment costs - and do require payment on the date of services.
We will discuss changes in treatment with you before doing anything.
Sometimes children cannot tolerate treatment in the office setting.
We get it - dentistry is tough.
While we will do anything possible to avoid your child needing sedation/anesthesia, sometimes it's necessary.
We are happy to speak with you about all options available.
We offer a full range of anesthesia solutions for these situations.
We think of ourselves as dental Super Heroes, but when it comes to sedation for your child's dental treatment, we bring in the big dog - Meet Dr. Ashley Hall (aka the Big Dog).
We kindly ask for your patience when scheduling an appointment so that the parent/child can have more privacy.
We humbly ask for your trust in sending your child into the office alone.
Your trust in us is felt by your children and it empowers them to accomplish big things in our office.
We love referrals from other dentists.
It means these kids need a little bit of TLC and we're here to provide that.
All dentists see things differently and you're bringing your child to a specialist.
Please gear them up that this is fun and awesome because it will be!
