One of the first things that came to her mind was her great grandmother's treasured magnolia plates.
Christie's great grandmother, who they affectionately called "Sweet Thang", was born in 1904.
She survived the Great Depression, helping raise her siblings in an orphanage, and the early death of her husband.
She raised Christie's grandfather, not remarrying until much later in life.
Sweet Thang always had an amazing outlook on life and loved to the fullest.

Dr. Barker is originally from Athens, Georgia.
He graduated Valedictorian from Jefferson High School in 1990 and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia in 1994.
After completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1998, Dr. Barker returned home to Athens to practice general and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Barker launched Magnolia Dental Spa of Athens in 2019.
His vision is to provide his patients with the ultimate level of comfort and to make a lifetime of healthy smiles possible with current technology and treatments that address changing dental needs of children and adults.
