Services
We will make every effort to see your child on the day of the incident.
If your child is a patient of record and is having a dental emergency after hours, please call the office at (904) 215-7800.
Find the tooth.
Handle the tooth by the top (crown), not the root portion.
You may rinse the tooth, but DO NOT clean or handle the tooth unnecessarily.
Try to reinsert it into its socket.
Have the child hold the tooth in place by biting on a clean gauze or cloth.
If you cannot reinsert the tooth, transport the tooth in a cup containing milk (preferred) or water.

We like to use the "tell, show, do" approach in explaining dental techniques and procedures to the child.
Our doctors and team talk to children in a way that they enjoy and understand.
Most dental procedures are completed with local anesthesia.
However, for the very young, uncooperative, or fearful child, nitrous oxide, oral sedation and IV sedation are available treatment options.

Education is a huge part of our practice.
We love visiting our local schools to teach kids about oral health and pediatric dentistry.
We are available to visit schools, daycare facilities, after school programs, summer camps and special needs students in Fleming Island, Orange Park, Green Cove Springs, Middleburg, Jacksonville and St. Johns County.
Our presentations are generally for children ages 3 years through 3rd grade, but we are happy to arrange a custom presentation for your group.
